This series is of one of my favourite subject matters, spiral staircase, done with ink on raw Chinese xuanzhi sized with homemade gelatin-alum solution. It aptly titled SPIRaloof on the wordplay of spiral and aloof. Take a closer look at the artworks and you will know why the name SPIRaloof.
