time travel ke 彼咯
lepak di Bekok
I look a half day detour to explore 彼咯 (Bekok) on 5 Dec 2025 during my me-time getaway to my favourite playground, 居鑾 Town (Kluang). Bekok is so peaceful and rustic. When I arrived at the train station, I already could feel the vibes of a lost village. My kind of place to time travel to. It seems frozen in time. Quaint. Nostalgic. Serene.
I was strolling around this little village, chatting up with the friendly folks. Then I bumped into this provision shop lady boss who insisted that if I wanted to jalan jalan look see look see Bekok, I should ride a motorbike to move around though the town looks small yet it is not. No. No. No. I don’t have a bike licence. LOL. she immediately contacted a driver friend to bring me go sightseeing. And just like that, we hang out and chatted like old friends. We had the best wanton mee for lunch with another retired folk then Musang wang durians for teabreak. Before I knew it, it was time to go catch my train back to Bat Town.
And just like that, we became good friends consistently exchange greetings and messages on whatsapp. It was a half day well spent. Unforgettable. Another of my time travel zigzagging the infinite multiverse getting lost somewhere out there.
Hasta la vista, 彼咯.
