About this postcard series, Church of The Little Flower of Jesus
It was one evening in 1997 when Ignatius was drawn into Church of St Teresa by a candle lit procession. It was All Saints’ Day he found out later. A non-Catholic then and curious he went back to the church the next day and there it was this registration for the next RCIA in progress. He put my name down. For the next one year Ignatius began his journey as an inquirer of the Catholic faith. Before he knew it, one year had passed. He would received the Sacraments of Initiation and was baptised. On reflection this verse John 10:16, comes to mind - “And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd.”
This series of the church is Ignatius' small humble tribute to Saint Teresa for her intercession in bringing this stray sheep back into the Lord’s fold as she once said, “I am your sister and your friend. Never will I cease watching over you.”
Thanks be to God.
